1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Work Time Tracker mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Work Time Tracker is a personal productivity application that allows users to:

Track work shifts and hours
Manage multiple workplace information
Calculate pay and earnings
Monitor holiday accrual
Export shift data
Set shift notifications
Import existing shift data

The App is designed for personal use to help individuals manage their work schedule and earnings tracking.

3. User Accounts and Data

3.1 Personal Information

You may provide personal information such as your name and date of birth
This information is stored locally on your device only
We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on external servers

3.2 Workplace and Shift Data

All workplace information, shift data, and earnings calculations are stored locally on your device
You are responsible for the accuracy of all data entered into the App
Regular backups of your data are recommended using the export features

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

Use the App for any fraudulent or illegal activities
Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
Use the App to violate any applicable employment laws or regulations
Share false or misleading employment information

5. Privacy and Data Protection

5.1 Local Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device using iOS SwiftData
No personal information is transmitted to external servers
We do not have access to your shift data, workplace information, or personal details

5.2 Notifications

The App may request permission to send local notifications
Notifications are generated locally on your device
You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings

5.3 Import/Export Features

When using import/export features, you control what data is shared and with whom
Exported data remains under your control
We are not responsible for how you choose to share or store exported data

6. Disclaimers and Limitations

6.1 Accuracy of Calculations

While we strive for accuracy, pay calculations and holiday accrual are estimates
You should verify all calculations with your employer’s official records
The App is not a substitute for official payroll systems

6.2 Employment Law Compliance

The App does not provide legal advice regarding employment law
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with local labor laws
Consult with legal professionals for employment-related legal matters

6.3 Data Loss

While the App stores data locally, we are not responsible for data loss due to:
Device failure or damage
iOS updates or system changes
User error or accidental deletion
Device restoration or replacement

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 App Ownership

The Work Time Tracker app, including its code, design, and features, is owned by the developer
You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal purposes

7.2 User Data

You retain ownership of all data you input into the App
We claim no ownership rights over your personal shift data or workplace information

8. Updates and Changes

8.1 App Updates

We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or add features
Updates may be delivered through the App Store
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of changes

8.2 Terms Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time
Material changes will be communicated through the App or App Store
Your continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms

9. Termination

9.1 User Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device
Deleting the App will remove all locally stored data

9.2 Developer Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue the App with reasonable notice
In case of discontinuation, you will retain access to export your data

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

The App is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any)
We are not responsible for employment disputes, wage discrepancies, or legal issues arising from App use

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
Any employment-related disputes involving data from the App

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding the use of the Work Time Tracker app.

Age Restrictions

The App is intended for users who are of legal working age in their jurisdiction. Users under 18 should obtain parental consent before using the App.

Calendar integration for shift scheduling

All integrations respect iOS privacy guidelines and require appropriate permissions.

By using Work Time Tracker, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
